Bits of ribbon show through, adding an extra detail. When worked on a larger needle or more openly with long stitches or in eyelet designs, the combination of ribbon and chenille shows through even more. Patterns include a tailored, fitted jacket with ribbon pinstripes and a flounced collar; a ruffled shrug and an elegant wrap.
