Here is a lovely chained cotton and rayon blend touched with a bit of polyester mother of pearl. The cotton and rayon take the dye, leaving the poly untouched and shining. The rayon dyes a bit more intensely than the cotton, lending a mildly tweedy look to the colors. The hand when knit is firm and cool to the touch. This is a great yarn for classic color work, textured stitches and mitered squares. We like it worked in one row, three color stripes as in model 3611 from Book 36. As with most of our yarns, Pearls comes in all of our hand dyed colors. Below is a sampling so you can see how it dyes.
