Sandwashed Solid Colors in Bon Bon (rayon)We refer to our semi-solid colors as "sandwashed" because they are kettle dyed and purposely allowed to contain tone-on-tone variations within each strand. The subtle shading imparts a look similar to sandwashing on denim or silk and is reminiscent of suede. Colors have been developed to complement our Stuff and hand dyed multi-colors. Many find that factory dyed solids are harsh when paired with hand dyes, and these solids are the perfect answer. Most of our yarns can be obtained in this solid range. As with all hand dyed yarns, dye lots may vary and different fibers may take the colors slightly differently--as well, while the photographs have been carefully color corrected, monitors and printers may affect appearance. Here is a good selection of our sandwashed solid colors shown in. |
