Intermezzo Hand Dyed: 81% nylon, 19% cotton; 1.75 oz/70 yds; use with size 3-5 yarns
Oh, what fun! With a helping hand from our friend Barry Klein at Trendsetter Yarns, we offer to you a hand dyed versio of Intermezzo. This very fun yarn is not meant to be knitted on its own; rather, as a base yarn is knitted, the Intermezzo is locked to the fabric through the open boxes along its edge. Skip boxes, and Intermezzo produces a fun, flirty ruffle. The detail below is from a very funky, fun skirt. Intermezzo is nylon ribbon with a cotton edge just skating along the ruffle. Since cotton and nylon dye with different dyes, the cotton edge provides a nice contrast. Available in all of our hand dyed colors; here are just a few to tempt you. Check back in January for more.
